Yes, I recognize the importance of using an accounting system that is available all of the time, doesn't have a steady stream of new bugs, and doesn't replace features with new features that have diminished capabilities.
On the other hand, rest assured that this is most important to us at Intuit. Really, though, we don't know what that means.
At this time we do offer a product called QuickBooks Desktop which has these properties, but rest assured we don't want you to buy it. Instead of that, we now offer QuickBooks Online, a products that is unstable and often doesn't work, but... it's online! Isn't that cool?
Rest assured, we are considering the idea of making QuickBooks Online as robust as QuickBooks Desktop, but it just seems rather hard to do, so we probably won't. Please know, though, that we don't really want to you buy Desktop. Sure, we still sell it, but good luck finding a link for it! On the other hand, rest assured that we are here to help you with all of the issues you'll have with QuickBooks online. We have a large library of answers that, rest assured, we are very good at copy/pasting and sometimes they even address the question we didn't read or understand! In most cases we know that every issue is the browser's fault anyway.
