I can help you report a possible scam to our security team and share how you can upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to the latest release, VNCPT.
May I ask if you're interested in upgrading your old QBDT software? If so, and it's within 2021 or older versions, please know they're no longer supported, effective May 31, 2024. Given that, you'll have to call our Support Team so they can help you upgrade your QBDT company.
Meanwhile, if it's in 2022 or later versions, you can follow the steps provided by this article to upgrade the system: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.
On the other hand, the QuickBooks team will not contact you unless you've scheduled a call back from them. To report the potential scam, you can send it through our Privacy & Security website. Here's how:
- Visit our Intuit Privacy & Security website and scroll down to the I have a privacy-related question section.
- Fill in the form accordingly.
- Click Submit.
- Our Security Team will receive your concern and will contact you via email.
