Hello, @BethA1.
Thank you for going through the troubleshooting steps I have provided above. I see that you're getting the error FSC Service is damage. Let's go ahead and uninstall QuickBooks and run a clean install to repair any damage. Before you uninstall the Application, you'll need the License and Product number. These numbers appear in the Help menu.
This option will display the information you need to re-install the program. Before you close QuickBooks, make sure to create a backup of the company file.
Once you have the license number and backup of the file, you can begin to uninstall QuickBooks.
1. Open the Start Menu and locate the Control Panel.
2. Choose Programs, then Programs and Features.
3. Right-Click the version of QuickBooks that needs to be un-installed to get the options Uninstall/Change.
4. Follow the instructions and select the option to remove to get rid of the application completely.
5. Install the Tool Hub to run the clean install before installing QuickBooks.
Open Tool Hub. (Right-click the icon and run as the administrator).
6. On the right-hand side, pick Installation issues and then Clean install tool and follow the instructions.
Once this is complete, all the temporary files are gone, and you're error-free. Now you can Install Quickbooks.
You are all set. Let me know if there is anything else I can do. I'm happy to help at any time. Have a great day.
