Regarding the QFX format — it stands for "Quicken Financial Exchange" and is the official "Quicken Web Connect" format. Here is a link with more info:

I would venture to guess that more banks support QXF (Quicken) than QBO (Quickbooks), just because Quicken is more consumer oriented / widespread. The reason Quickbooks does not support QXF is likely more due to licensing/revenue, rather than support for customers. Regardless, I'll send a note to my bank to ask if they will sign up to get on the list.
