Let me show you how to make those pop-ups appear.
QuickBooks Desktop has the option to bring back all the pop-ups especially those related to products. You can follow these steps:
- Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences.
- From the General tab, make sure the Turn off pop-up messages for products and services is not checked.
- Click OK to save it.
If this doesn't help, you'll want to perform these additional steps to see if there's an error that may cause this behavior. You can find the detailed steps through this link: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.
- Choose Window then Close All.
- From the File menu, then Utilities.
- Select Verify Data and wait for it to load.
- Go back to File, Utilities then Rebuild Data.
