Hi, 19Cora49.

I understand how difficult it is that you can't log in to your account. Since you've followed all the necessary steps in resetting your password, you can utilize the password reset tool to get this fix.

Here's how:

  1. Go to this link: Automated password reset tool
  2. Choose your  QuickBooks version on the Version drop-down arrow.
  3. A product information window should pop up. Enter your QuickBooks business information, then hit Next when you are finished.
  4. Accept the license agreement and hit Download. If it asks you to Run or Save the file, choose Save and save it to your Desktop. And the email that contains the access token will be sent to only the same address you originally entered.
  5. From the QuickBooks Desktop Products drop-down, select the same version.
  6. Click Browse for Company File, then locate the file, and enter the correct Company File Admin User Name
  7. Enter your New Password and then Confirm New Password.
  8. Select Reset Password to complete the process.

In addition, I've added this article that'll help you on how to restore a backup file: Restore a backup of your company file.

I'm only a few clicks away if you need assistance with changing and resetting passwords. It's always my pleasure to help you out again.
