QuickBooks Add/No Customer Address Verification - AVS for ACH transactions
In response to Jovychris_A:
Yes, it's possible to enter the customer payment information and use a different
address. However, using different address information won't match the address
on file with the cardholder's bank. Your transaction is still processed.
In regards, is it required by QuickBooks to have an address per customer on file to process an ACH or credit card transaction?
What are the required specified fields?
Is it possible for either an product/service that doesn't acquire an address, or is the address needed to validate the customers banking/credit card information once processed (AVS credit/ACH)?
By chance, if I'm aware of who purchases a service or product directly from myself, does the need to have an address not required to process and a deposit to be disbursed?
Or, is it only to maintain "good books" for accounting purposes of "whom and you" I sold to?
Please specify?
Yes, QuickBooks uses AVS for each customer to avoid credit card fraud and
chargeback for transactions in which the credit card is not physically present at
the point of sale.
Is there an AVS for ACH transactions or is it primarily for only credit cards?
Thank you.
