Paying an international vendor in US$
We have a requirment to pay an international vendor in US$ (that country accepts US$). Prevoulsy, I was able to do it with Melio (in QB). Now with QB bill payment, I am not able to do so (both paper check and bank transfer). QB bill payment only allows bill payments for US. Can someone throw some light on this? Thanks.

Currently, QuickBooks Bill Pay does not offer the option to pay international vendors. However, you can consider using a third-party app to facilitate this process. You may want to explore the QuickBooks Apps Store for available options.

If you connect Melio to QBO all payments, invoices, and vendors’ details will be automatically synced between the two. Since QBO is only the receiver of data from Melio, I recommend reaching out to their support to get further details on how they transfer info.

While Bill Pay only supports payments in US Dollars within the US, I recommend exploring third-party applications that specifically cater to international payments. These apps offer multi-currency support and streamlined payment processes to ensure a smooth and efficient transaction experience. Here's how:
- Navigate to Apps, then Find apps.
- Enter the app's name in the search bar or explore various apps by selecting the Browse category drop-down menu.
- Select an app and click Get app now to integrate.
Moreover, I can see the importance of having the ability to pay international vendors. I encourage you to share your thoughts with our Product Development team for consideration in future updates. Here's how:
- Select the Gear icon, then choose Feedback.
- Enter your comments or product suggestions.
- Select Next to submit.

Just an FYI that Melio sent out an email today saying that they will stop processing international payments on February 27, 2025. They're changing to a new vendor, and have no estimate of when their international payment capability will be restored. Does anyone have another vendor they use?
