QuickBooks Time
You haven't missed any steps, 21machine. Once you give a user permission, it will stay even if they log out in QuickBooks Time. Let's troubleshoot with the user to fix this unusual behavior.
The outdated stored cache can affect the performance of the program. I recommend accessing your account using a private window. This way, we can determine whether this is a browser cache-related issue.
Let's try accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:
- Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
- Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
- Safari: Command+Shift+N
After that, assign permission to the employee and let them log out and log in to their QB Time account. If it works, I recommend clearing the cache of your regular browser so you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You may also use other supported browsers as an alternative. For more details about their permissions, see this article: Team member settings and permissions in QuickBooks Time.
Additionally, you can refer to these articles on how to manage your team’s time and pay period in QuickBooks Time:
