Thanks for visiting the Community space, @ronan-mckee. Let's work together to fix the issue of why you're unable to find the snap receipt feature in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app.
The app often keeps a cache to speed up your experience while performing your tasks. Once it's full of cache, your system may experience some unexpected behavior, like being unable to find this feature. It can also be caused by an outdated app. That said, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to fix these issues.
We can start by refreshing the data within the app or from the settings menu on your mobile app. This refreshes the application to remove the older cache that causes this odd behavior.
For Android:
- Go to Menu ☰ then click the Gear icon.
- Select Refresh Data.
- Tap Yes.
For iOS:
- Go to the Menu ☰ icon, then select Help & Feedback.
- Tap Refresh Data.
- Select Refresh.

However, if the issue persists, I suggest uninstalling and then reinstalling the mobile app. It allows you to use the app on a clean slate. Follow the steps below to proceed:
- Tap and hold the app on your phone.
- Drag the app to the Uninstall section.
- Select Yes to confirm.
Once done, visit these links to reinstall the QBO mobile app:
- Android app via Google Play.
- iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch apps are via the iTunes App Store.
