Transactions

Thanks for letting us know, hallix. I can help provide detailed information to recover all lost transactions from your online banking account in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

If you've deleted the connected bank in QBSE, this will also remove the transactions downloaded from your financial institution. With that, we can manually import the statements into QuickBooks to recover your lost entries.

To do this, let's secure a CSV file of your bank transactions and upload them to your account:

  1. Go to Settings and select Imports.
  2. Choose Import older transactions for the account you want to add transactions to.
  3. Follow the onscreen steps to upload the CSV file.
  4. Review the column headers and data. Make sure the Date, Description, and Amount columns on the CSV match the columns and order in QuickBooks. The other column headers can be in any order.
  5. Then, tap Continue to complete the import.

On another note, you can reconnect your bank account in QBSE to download the last 90 days' worth of transactions and import the older ones.

However, if you've categorized the lost transactions and no longer have access to your banking information, I suggest contacting our QBSE Support Team to further investigate your data and provide guidance on how to recover your financial entries.

Once transactions are in, you can refer to these resources to help you in managing bank entries:

I'll be on this thread if there's anything else you require additional assistance with when recovering online bank transactions. Feel free to let me know in the comments below. Keep safe.
