Let's repair your QuickBooks Desktop to fix your display preferences. I'm here to ensure you'll be able to fix it and help you with how it's done.

 

First, you'll have to create a back up of your company file. By creating a back up copy prevents you from any data loss of your company file.

 

Let me show you how:

  1. Go to File.
  2. Choose Back Up Company.
  3. Select Create Local Backup.
  4. Hit Local backup.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Select a local folder to save the backup copy of your company file.
  7. Click Finish.

Once completed, here's how you can repair your QuickBooks Desktop:

  1. Go to Start.
  2. Click Control Panel.
  3. Select Programs and Features.
  4. Choose QuickBooks in the list of programs.
  5. Hit Uninstall/Change.
  6. Select Continue.
  7. Choose Next.
  8. Hit Repair.
  9. Click Finish.
