Accept an invite to join QuickBooks Online

Learn how to accept an invite to join QuickBooks Online.
An admin can send you an invite to access a company they manage. Accept the invite and have access to specific tasks and data within QuickBooks Online.
Step 1: Accept the invitation email
When an admin invites you to join QuickBooks, you’ll receive an invitation email.
If you’re new to Intuit
If you don’t have an Intuit account yet, you’ll need to create one.
- Open the email. The sender should indicate the name of the company.
- Select the Let’s go! link in the email.
- Create a new Intuit account.
Tip: We recommend that you enter your first and last name. This will help us verify your info if you lose access to your phone number or email.
If you already have an Intuit account
- Open the email. The sender should indicate the name of the company.
- Select the Let’s go! link in the email.
- Sign in to your existing account. Recover your Intuit account if you can’t sign in.
Step 2: Proceed to QuickBooks
After you’ve created an account, or signed in to your existing account, we’ll take you to QuickBooks.
You’ll need to select your role in the company you’re joining. Once you’re in, you can bookmark the page to easily get back to it. You can also change your user ID or password if needed.
