How to map QuickBooks Classes and Locations to Employment Hero Locations

You can map your QuickBooks classes and locations to Employment Hero locations from the Payroll Settings in QuickBooks Online. This lets you to organise employees by geographical or departmental locations.

What are QuickBooks Classes and Locations?

QuickBooks Classes and Locations allows QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced users to better track where their income is coming from based on location, or classes (products, departments with your business).

Map QuickBooks locations and classes to Employment Hero

  1. Select Payroll from the left hand navigation menu 
  2. From the Payroll screen select the Payroll Settings tab
  3. Select Locations (located under PAY RUN SETTINGS) 
  4. Select the Pencil icon for the Location you wish to map

  1. Select the relevant QuickBooks Location and/or QuickBooks Class from the drop down menus
