ProAdvisor Academy and certification courses

The ProAdvisor Academy lets you advance your expertise and manage your professional achievements. Within the platform, you can enroll in courses, track your history, earn CPD hours and manage your badges in your Credly profile.

Note: These training courses are geo-restricted and should be taken while located in your region only.

Access ProAdvisor Academy

1. Sign in to your Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS) or QuickBooks Online Accountant account.
2. Go to Firm hub , select ProAdvisor, then select ProAdvisor training (Take me there).
   Note: If you are in QuickBooks Online Accountant, go to YOUR PRACTICE, select ProAdvisor, then select Training.
3. Select Start learning.
4. You’ll automatically sign in to the ProAdvisor Academy in a new tab.
5. After you pass a certification, sign in to Credly to accept your badge. Use the same email address you used for your certification.

Note:

• If you see completed courses that you haven't taken yet, contact support.
• If you fail one or more sections of the exam, you must retake the entire exam.

Navigate the ProAdvisor Academy

Use the following sections within the Academy to manage your training and certifications.

• My Hub: Continue any certification enrollments you’ve started.
• Programs: Enroll in Intuit QuickBooks Certification programs and level up as you go.
• Learn: View an alphabetically ordered list of all learning courses and webinars to help you earn your Intuit QuickBooks Certifications.
• My History: Download your certificates and badges, or share badges to social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, and X).
• FAQ: Review frequently asked questions about the platform and programs.
• Notifications: View alerts and notifications.

Manage ProAdvisor points

A points system determines your ProAdvisor tier. You earn points for activities such as earning QuickBooks certifications or onboarding new clients.

View your firm's current points

1. Go to Firm hub , select ProAdvisor, then select Benefits (Take me there).
   Note: If you are using ​QuickBooks Online Accountant​, go to YOUR PRACTICE, select ProAdvisor, then select Benefits.
2. Select History to see activities that impact your point total.
   Tip: If this is your first time using this option or if you don't see History, select Check it out or Get started.

Submit CPD certificates

CPD is a membership requirement for several Australian professional and regulatory bodies, including Certified Practising Accountant Australia (CPA Australia), Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), Tax Practitioners Board (TPB), Chartered Accountants ANZ (CA ANZ) and Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB Australia). Each body sets its own CPD hour requirements and acceptable activity categories — check with your governing body on how to submit your QuickBooks ProAdvisor training certificates. 

We recommend you keep a copy of your completion certificate and badge as evidence for your own CPD log or diary (for example, the CPA Australia CPD Diary).
