I wonder if other accountants able to use auto fill features of profile. I am have problem. I get the message in profile that your request has been submitted and will be processed asap. Once I fill-up Authorize a Representative-Signature Page form with level of Authorization 2 and get signed by client, I go to Efile drop down and then choose Efile Authorize a representative.
Please advise If I am on the right track?
I have not had any problem using the auto fill. Sometimes there is a delay between submitting the authorize a rep form and the authorization actually going though, so maybe wait a few days before trying to use auto fill when submitting a new authorization.
You have to first have authorization on file. If you are able to use the "Represent a Client" on CRA's website, you have authorization. So I would first test that. If you are able to access their account, close out CRA's website, open the T1 in Profile, then go to "File/Auto-fill my Return". Follow the prompts to complete the process.
