"License Error Occurred" with a Valid License

Hello,

I successfully updated my ProFile license for 2020 T1 on my home PC. When trying to do the same on my work PC, I keep getting "License Error Occurred: An invalid license-product code combination was entered".

I contacted phone support, they recommended I re-install ProFile (which I did), and I still get the same error when trying to update the license.

To troubleshoot on my own, I tried entering the license on ProFile on a new laptop I just purchased, and sure enough it worked just fine.

I tried again to enter the product/license on my work PC, and again get the same error. No flex licensing options, nothing. Why do I keep getting the License Error on my primary work PC? Has anyone encountered this problem? If so, how did you fix it? I am 100% certain that the product code and license key are correct. All computers in question are up-to-date running Windows 10.

Any insight appreciated.

Thanks

Gary

"License Error Occurred" with a Valid License

Hi Gary,

Congratulations on updating your ProFile license. It's vital you're able to use the program on your work computer without any issues. Don't worry, I'll be happy to steer you towards the right path with this.

When you get an error message that says "License Error Occurred" after entering your license information, it means that

  • there's a chance that the information entered isn't correct
  • the ProFile version being used may not be the most recent

I'm confident that you've verified the info above on your end. Your time is valuable and I'd like for you to save every second of it. You'd benefit more by reaching out to our support team again so they can take a closer look at what's happening on the work PC. You can reach out to our ProFile support team by dialing 1-800-452-9970 from 9 AM to 6 PM (EST) weekdays.
