by Intuit• Updated 4 days ago

As your firm prepares for the transition to Intuit ProPartner Accountants, keeping track of your team's certifications helps you understand and secure your firm's projected tier. This article shows you how to check your team's current certification status and enroll them in training, whether your firm uses QuickBooks Online Accountant or Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS).

Pro Tip: Remember that having at least one actively certified team member is a mandatory baseline requirement to step up from the Member tier into Partner status and unlock upper-tier benefits when ProPartner Accountants officially launches in early 2027.

Qualifying certifications include: QuickBooks Online Level 1, QuickBooks Online Level 2 and Payroll.

How do I check my firm's projected tier?

To review exactly how your current certifications impact your standing:

  1. Go to Firm hub , select ProAdvisor, then select Benefits (Take me there).
  2. Review your firm's projected tier, current point total, and the points needed to reach the next tier.
  3. Find the banner that reads ProAdvisor is evolving into ProPartner Accountants.
  4. Select Learn more in the banner to open the ProPartner Accountants preview page.
  5. Go to the Compare tiers section to view the benefits at each level, such as expanded revenue share, dedicated customer support, and access to Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS) Accelerate.

How do I check my team's certification status?

Where you check certification status depends on whether your firm uses QuickBooks Online Accountant or has migrated to Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS).

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online Accountant as a firm admin.
  2. Select Team.
  3. Select the Certifications tab to view your team's current credentials.

If you use Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS)

If your firm has already made the switch to Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS), firm admins can view individual transcripts, monitor exam progress, and track renewal deadlines to ensure your firm maintains its active certification requirements year-round.

  1. Sign in to Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS) using your firm admin credentials.
  2. Go to Firm hub , select ProAdvisor, then select Manage training (Take me there).
  3. Review the list of staff linked to your firm console, including each team member's name, completed and in-progress programs, and completed and in-progress courses.
