How long does it take for my payments to deposit?
Funds are typically deposited within three to four business days once your deposit has been successfully set up.
How do I change where QuickBooks Payments deposits my money?
Individuals with payments provisions can undertake the steps below.
Note: The same deposit account is used for both Bank Payments and for Credit Card payments. Therefore, any changes made to your deposit account apply to both.
- Select the gear icon.
- Select the Account and settings option.
- Select the Payments tab.
- Edit the deposit account information.

If a customer made a payment through Bank Payments, it generally takes three to four business days to reach your bank.

● The time it takes for your bank to verify and process electronic deposits
I have funds on hold…what should I do?
You'll receive an email to the email address you use to sign in to the Merchant Service Centre. The email will have a link to the Resolution Centre. You can see the status and details of your case. Answer any questions we may have so we can process your request.
We'll review the info you provide within 2 business days. If we get what we need, we'll release the funds. It may take 1-2 business days for your bank to settle the funds. You should have your money in 3-4 business days from your request. If we have questions or need more info, we'll email and call you.
