
Find your QuickBooks Payroll service

Here's how to check which payroll products and services you have.
Prerequisites
To find your payroll service, you need to be signed in to QuickBooks Online as the Primary admin. For QuickBooks Desktop you must be signed in as the Primary Admin or Payroll Admin. Make sure you're in the right role to see the right screens.
QuickBooks Online Payroll
Find your payroll subscription
QuickBooks Online Payroll has 3 services: Core, Premium, and Elite. To see what you have, you’ll need to get into your QuickBooks Online account.
- Go to https://qbo.intuit.com to sign in to your account as the Primary admin.
- Go to Settings ⚙ and select Subscriptions and billing.
QuickBooks Desktop Payroll
Find your payroll subscription
- Access your QuickBooks Desktop Payroll by clicking on the QuickBooks icon
on your computer.
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Desktop company file as the Primary Admin or Payroll Admin.
- Go to Employees and select Payroll Centre.
- From the Payroll tab, select Manage my account under Subscription Status.
- You'll see which payroll service you're using under Product Information.
