Printing barcodes for T1 in Pro Tax

Note: Printing a barcode in Pro Tax is like having a digital stamp press that can make a unique, scannable mark on your T1 tax forms. This will make sure they are ready for official submission.

Pro Tax lets you print and export tax return PDFs for T1 and T2 customers. Print and export tax return PDFs for clients, the CRA, or for your records.

Pro Tax creates PDFs for printing, which you can print right from a browser or PDF software. It gives you default print set templates, like ProFile's, for CRA, office, and client copies. You can create custom templates for your company and clients to highlight what’s most important for their taxes. You can also change templates for single print jobs.

To set print sets in Pro Tax, follow these instructions: 

1. Open your T1 or T2 Pro Tax product.
2. Select "Print return" from the "Return actions" menu.
3. Choose "Client" under the "Print Sets" dropdown menu.
4. Use the "Forms selection" link to select specific forms for a print set, and you can modify the print order by dragging and dropping forms.
5. Optionally, password protect your print sets or skip this feature.
6. Select "Download PDF" to save a PDF copy of your return set.
