Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or support for PCs running Windows 8.1 after Jan 10, 2023. For your data’s security, we recommend upgrading your operating system to a supported version before installing QuickBooks.

Hardware and operating system requirements

- Twice the size of the largest file set to back up + 100MB or twice the size to restore. The space is only required from the work folder LocalApplicationData+"Intuit\Intuit Data Protect".

QuickBooks Desktop 2022 requires internet security protocol TLS 1.2 for the connected services to work smoothly.
What do I do if my system doesn't meet the minimum requirements?
You might find your systems don't meet some or all of the minimum requirements to run QuickBooks Desktop. Usually you can upgrade your system to meet all the requirements.
