I am not being allowed the option to efile these returns? Is it a software issue as CRA says it's ok to do this? Still says it should be paper filed?
If you go to the form T1EFILE, on this form, if anything is set to yes, you will not be able to EFILE
Make sure that the INFO page is filled out accurately.

What does "certification in process" mean? Saw this under Canada.ca site.
Once a software developer has completed their product, they can transmit their test returns to the CRA. The CRA evaluates the results and, if the software meets the certification test criteria, issues a confirmation letter to the developer. Only when a developer has received this confirmation letter can the product be marketed as software that is EFILE-certified.
