Hi,
Husband filled his taxes else where and where do I enter his Net Income when doing the wife's taxes?
Thanks very much.
HB
You enter it on the INFO screen, in the "Spousal Information" section where it says Net income.
Hi Janis,
I did that but Profile is asking to fill S2? So I just create a dummy return for the husband and fill the T4 net income box and it fixed the issue. I am not sure why Profile did not take the amount I inserted in the INFO screen in the Spousal information section for Net Income.
Thanks very much for you help Janis.
Cheers

That is odd. I wonder if it is because his net income was low enough that the program was looking for transfers (basic exemption, age amount, pension, etc) to the wife. It that is the case, they really should be doing both tax returns together.
Hi Janis,
Husband made more than wife. This is wired as I have done lots of couple filling separately and never had this issue. Any way, I open a dummy T4 for the husband and inserted the net income there and Profile took it. Yes, couples are recommended to file together always.
Thanks very much for you help Janis
