This isn't exactly a ProFile question but I haven't been able to get an answer using the obvious routes. I worked for Intuit last year and need Intuit's HST number in order to claim a refund of the sales tax on my home office expenses. Human resources have been trying to get me the number for two weeks but so far have not succeeded. If someone has a receipt for purchasing Intuit software, the number should be on it.

Interesting, the number was removed instantly when I posted it. Maybe the system thinks it's a SIN. Let's try breaking it up. The first part is 139. Then comes 217. That's followed by 491. Finally there's RT0001.
not sure why you haven't been able to obtain the number? do you not have a prior receipt with the number on it? seems odd.
I've never purchased anything from Intuit. Last year I worked for TurboTax Live as a Tax Expert. Intuit provided a laptop with ProFile and other software already installed. If you have a receipt or other access to Intuit's HST/GST number that information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
i just spoke with an agent online and he said to call the help number and they will assist you. it is 1-800-452-9970 hope that helps. good luck!
That number gets me to ProFile support/sales. I tried that twice before and each time the person did not even know what HST is. If I hadn't worked for Intuit I'd have been surprised. Working for Intuit I learned that they hire a lot of unqualified people. Thanks for the suggestion though.
unbelievable that they don't even give their employees the number! i thought that if you called they would be able to direct you to someone that could give it to you. sorry.
do you still have the profile program? if so go to help and then message and someone will message you and they should be able to help. just a thought.
or try this number 1-844-861-3600 good luck.

Intuit tax registration information
GST/HST: [removed]
Thank you so very much for providing the number. Unfortunately after "GST/HST" it says "[removed]". I don't know who removed it, possibly a moderator. To whomever removed it: If you think this is some sort of secret proprietary information that can be used nefariously, it is not. First of all this number is already on thousands and thousands of receipts issued to all kinds of people by Intuit in Canada. Secondly, since Canada has a value added tax (VAT) system, registrants are required to make this number publicly available in order for the system to work.
Human Resources in California finally got the number for me. In case anyone else needs it, it's:
[removed] RT0001
