Installed the new ProFile 2022 Update on both a Win10 and Win11. I use Clients Explorer / Shared Server option and when I open up the Client Explorer non of the Client Files show (Tile total: 0) I have tried reindexing as well as creating a new file and saving and still does not show up.
If I switch to a Personal Server the files show up but this does not work becasue I need multiple people usung the same Client Explorer.
I will assume this is a clitch in the new update and will go back to 2021 unless someone has a solution.

Grant, is there a way we can go back to the previous Profile update as I have Build PDF and email T1 return issues from the Print / email PDF selection that have not been resolved by both Level 1 and Level 2 support.
John, unfortunately there is no one click downgrade not from what I can find. What I had to do was uninstall the program then reinstall over again. The install comes from https://profile.intuit.ca/download/ in case you don’t have a copy. (I do believe they have not replaced this link with the new 2022 version it should be 2021.5.0)
When I called Profile last week I was told that they know this issue and it will be solved in the new update. The new update was released today and the problem is still there. Can you please try the new update and confirm if you are also having the same issue or is it just me?

Yes I did attempt last nigh with their new 2022.0.5 and still not working. I did see in another feed a ProFile Tech said to remove the .FF2 and .CFG Files in the database folder. (This in the past will fix any New Indexing issue.)
However this did not fix the issue. I do not know if the new update fixed the Classic Database issues or not as my office does not use the Classic Database and we do not plan on going back. We are using the Client Explorer Server package and will assume that there is still a glitch and will wait for the next update
And until then I continue to use 2021.5.0.
I installed the new version and when I was trying to create a new 2021 tax return, it was impossible to enter the SIN! A message pops up, "The method or operation is not implemented". After trying various methods, I pressed F2 and then the SIN was entered.
Also, I do not like the new icons, I was quite used to the old ones.

There are reported issues using the client explorer as mentioned in this thread. There is also under investigation the issue of an error when entering a SIN in a tax file for those using classic database. These issues were not resolved in ProFile version 2022.0.5 but are under investigation for a later update.

There is an issue with files not showing in Client Explorer. Our product development team is working on resolving this issue as quickly as possible. You could try clearing the database and indexing one year at a time but, this does not resolve the issue if there is a large number of files. I apologize for this inconvenience but we are working on fix.
Couple of other things.
The 2022 ProFile has major systems updates. To this time, database issues are reported but there are not other major issues.
Also, the gpsetup.exe available from the ProFile website is 2022.0.5. at this time. Gpsetup.exe will be updated on the ProFile website as updates are released.
