Does a Quebec resident have to pay both what it says is owing for the federal return plus what it showing on TP1? Example: Amount owed at the bottom of profile T1 is 100 but the TP1 says amount owed 300.
I've never done a TP1 before so i'm a little confused. for every other province the provincial taxes are included in the balance/refund box at the bottom of profile. The numbers are much higher than the example i gave so i'd like to know if i'm going to be giving the client a heart attack or not..
Thanks

Quebec keeps their taxes separate from the Federal taxes, so they would owe both.
