I have a user with standard permissions on a Windows Server 2022 RDS session who is unable to print a T1 form using the regular print button (which sends the job to the default printer, Microsoft Print to PDF).
However, when the user clicks the “Print Current Form” button, the document prints correctly.
It seems that Intuit profile is not behaving properly within the RDS session.
Solution ?
Do you know if its happening for a specific tax year or any tax year?
Hi Mario,
It’s for all tax years, not a specific one.
I am having the same problem with printing. Did you find a solution?
Unfortunately, I haven’t found any solution, and I haven’t received any follow‑up from Intuit
We spent a few days on this and finally found the issue on our end. Hopefully it will work for you as well.

we found an old post from 2024 with printing issues on this community forum and an employee response gave us the lead.
I suspect that one of the forms is the culprit. if you could nail down which form it is, that would help. We have seen on some user that the issue was a client letter no setup correctly.

So we disabled the client letter and engagement letter in our system when using the print button to test the theory and it worked! Everything printed complete fine. Further investigation found that our letters were being pulled from an incorrect location. So under Options, then Templates, we had to fix every single year to pull the templates from the correct folded. Saved the settings manually under Options Administrator and restarted Profile. So far it's been working fine.

Hope that helps.
