The comparative summary is now printing on 2 pages, just the heading on one page and the rest of the information on page 2. So printed tax returns look like there is a blank page in the midst of the tax return.
Is there anyway to compress the printing so this will print on one page or an option not to print the first page?
Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community
There are issues with booth the T1Summary and the Comparative summary in ProFile 2020.3.0. These issues will be resolved in ProFile 2020.3.5 targeted for release early March 2021
I apologize for the inconvenience but hope this helps
Hi Ducan,
It would have been much nicer to see the summary being resolved in 2020.3.1.
We are also experiencing issues creating PDF's, please look into that as well.
Hi.
This is happening again in Profile Version 2023.3.1
Is there a planned fix upcoming?
Thanks
The forms have changed, by example, there is a new line 45355 Multigenerational home renovation tax credit in 2023. To print on 1 page, you need to go to file printsetup and change the settings to automatic
When you adjust print setting under File ~ Print Setup, it only changes the setting when you print a particular form. When you print a full file using the printer Icon it doesn't pick up the adjusted print settings done under Print Setup?
I keep getting my Comparative Summary on two pages. Page one has only headings and page 2 has all the details?
Pain!
Yes, mine too. I don't have time to change the print settings on every form every time but it seems that is the only option.
We have a ticket opened @niagarataxcpa, and developpers are working on it. Thanks fo bringing this up.
A ticket is opened for the comparative summary, @niagarataxcpa, For the printsetup, you need to make the changes that you want to each categories. Can you elaborate more on what is the issue you have with print setup, is this a specific setting.
Thanks Mario.
1. If I try to print using "Print the current file" the comparative summary comes out on two pages.
2. If I open the comparative summary and "Print the current form" it comes out on one page.
In print setup I changed the scaling all the way down to 70% to see if it would help with no success.
So, for some reason when the printing happens through "Print the current file" it gives me two pages. If the printing happens through "Print the current form" I get one page?
John
ln the in my case I get 2 pages in both scenarios, it was working fine yesterday, till I reset the Greenpoint folder in the registry. If I print to profilePDF export, I see the issue, but if i print to Microsoft Pdf print, it works fine
