Learn what to do if you get the following error when you try to connect your account in bank feeds:
Something unexpected happened and we can't connect to [your bank name]. Try again in a few hours. (7500)
Some customers have run into this error due to a permissions issue with the Intuit Account.
When you perform a bank feeds download, you’ll need to sign in as the primary admin for the Intuit Account connected to the company file.
Step 1: Find the Primary admin in the Product Information window
- Open your QuickBooks company.
- Press Ctrl + 1 or the F2 key to view the Product Information window.
- Look for the Primary admin email located in the Intuit Account Information section.
Step 2: Make sure the user ID is signed in
Before you connect your account in Bank Feeds again, check to make sure the correct user ID shows in your company file.
- Go to Company, then select My Company.
- Make sure the correct user ID shows in the upper right corner.
The user ID should be the same one associated with the email in Step 1. If those aren’t your credentials, then bank feeds will need to be downloaded by the primary admin for this account.
Alternatively, you can 🔽Sign Out and sign back in again with the correct user ID.
You can also transfer the primary admin role in QuickBooks Desktop.
