Fix bank error 108

by Intuit569 Updated 6 days ago

Error 108 means your bank or credit card company has a message for you on their website. Error messages include:

  • The bank needs you to do something at their site.
  • There's a message on your bank's website that needs your attention.

These messages are usually about new terms of service, maintenance announcements, or new offers from the bank. These messages can block the connection to QuickBooks.

Resolve Error 108

Step 1: Check your bank or credit card website

Sign in to your bank or credit card website to check for any messages and actions you need to take.

Important: Make sure you sign in with the same credentials you use to connect the account to QuickBooks. If your bank has merged with another bank, get your new sign in info so you can get into your new account. Then, in QuickBooks disconnect the account from QuickBooks and use the correct credentials for your bank's website to reconnect it.
