Each AI-powered Report Insight is based on up to 15 months of transaction data.

In the report header of your Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet reports, you'll see an Insights option that shows the number of insights detected. This view highlights key trends and anomalies at a glance. - Inside reports
Look for blue sparkle iconsembedded directly in the report, drawing your attention to noteworthy changes as you scroll.

Each insight is designed to be quickly scannable and informative:- Hero number
Shows the size or impact of the change. - Headline
Explains what changed. - Chart
Helps visualize the trend over time. - Root-cause analysis (RCA)
Explains why the change happened.

- How Root-cause analysis works
There are two RCA types, depending on the insight:- Standard RCA
Automatically highlights drivers of change, such as customers, vendors, products, or classes. Includes a link to the relevant transaction list so you can inspect the data in detail. - Accounting Agent RCA
When an In-depth accounting review is available for an anomaly, the AI Accounting Agent provides an overview of its conclusions based on transaction-level analysis. There's also a PDF report that goes into much more detail.

How to view your AI report insights
Follow this link to complete the steps in product.
- Find and open the single-entity, or consolidated Profit and Loss, or Balance Sheet report.
- Click on the Insights button in the report header to load and preview available insights.
- When you select an insight, it opens a tooltip summary.
- The Review Books with Accounting Agent button in the Insights panel on single-entity reports launches a deeper analysis of the books, highlighting possible accounting issues.
- Users can also access AI insights marked by blue sparkle icons
on report line items, where anomalies/trends/etc. have been detected.
- Click on an insight to open a tooltip that displays an insight summary, a graph with 12 months of historical data, and an RCA of the anomaly or trend. If available, there will also be links to underlying data for further exploration.
- If the Accounting Agent can do a deeper analysis, there will be a brief summary of the RCA and a link to a detailed report.
Report insights on Consolidated reports in Intuit Enterprise Suite:
Note:This feature is available to Intuit Enterprise Suite customers only.
- On Consolidated Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet reports, users can view insights from all selected entities in a single, convenient location, without switching entities.
- If you want to go deeper into transactions from a particular insight and entity, you can preview the transaction data, then switch to that entity to see the detailed analysis.
