Follow the steps below based on where you bought your QuickBooks Online subscription.
Important: If you use QuickBooks Online Payments, you need to cancel your Payments account separately. Here's how to close your Payments account.

Learn what happens to your data after you cancel
If you have one QuickBooks Online account and cancel it, you have read-only access to your data for one year. After that, you have to resubscribe to access the data.
If you have multiple QuickBooks Online accounts, at least one account with the same login should remain active to have read-only access indefinitely.
