Get more done with QuickBooks mobile app and web
by Intuit•4• Updated 1 week ago
You can use the QuickBooks mobile app and the web experience together to manage your business. The mobile app is designed for quick, on-the-go tasks like capturing receipts, while the web experience provides advanced tools for accounting, reporting, and payroll. You can sign in to both experiences with the same Intuit account, and your company data stays in sync whether in mobile or web.
This article explains what you can do in the QuickBooks mobile app, what you can do on the web, and when to switch.
Note: Some features may require additional setup, an additional subscription, or a different plan (for example, QuickBooks Online Payroll or QuickBooks Time), and availability may vary by plan, rollout timing, and eligibility.
Access QuickBooks Online on the web
Sign in to the web experience using any computer or tablet to access advanced accounting features.
- Open a web browser on a computer, laptop, or tablet.
- Sign in with the same Intuit account you use for the QuickBooks mobile app.
- Select your company, if prompted.
- Use the navigation menu to find the feature you need, such as Reports, Reconcile, Payroll, or Taxes.
Tip: If your company data does not appear, confirm you signed in with the same Intuit account credentials used for the mobile app.

- Customers: proposals, appointments, contracts, and feedback/review requests.
- Payroll & contractors: run payroll, pay contractors, and handle payroll tax filings and 1099s (requires a QuickBooks Online Payroll subscription).
- Projects, time, and inventory: project tracking and budgets, time tracking/approvals, and inventory purchasing/shipping tools.
- Taxes: manage sales tax and business tax workflows.
