Before you start

Here are some things to know before you begin this process.

  • Make sure you've successfully connected and set up Mailchimp for Salesforce.
  • You’ll need to have opted to keep and sync all activity before you start the customization process. If you’ve chosen to sync only subscriber data or if you chose not to sync any data between your Mailchimp and Salesforce accounts, your customization may not display data properly. To learn more about the available sync settings, check out Connect Your Mailchimp Account to Salesforce.
  • You’ll need to have turned data syncing on. Learn more at Connect Your Mailchimp Account to Salesforce.
  • Mailchimp for Salesforce does not interact with Salesforce reports.
