Edit customer info in QuickBooks Online

Edit a customer’s recorded info in QuickBooks Online to keep your records up to date.

Note: When you change customer info, it updates previously sent invoices or recurring transactions that use this info, such as billing, shipping and email addresses, taxable status, or payment methods and terms.

  1. Go to All apps A bunch of numbers and letters on a tile wall., then Customer Hub, then Customers (Take me there).
  2. Select the customer you want to update.
  3. Select the Customer Details tab.
  4. Select Edit.
  5. Make any changes.
  6. Select Save.
