QuickBooks Online

To get help with QuickBooks Online, follow these steps:

Note: These steps apply to:

• QuickBooks Online Simple Start, QuickBooks Online Lite, QuickBooks Online Essentials, QuickBooks Online Plus, QuickBooks Online Advanced, QuickBooks Online Accountant, ProAdvisor, or QuickBooks Solopreneur products. 
• QuickBooks Online Payroll Core, QuickBooks Online Payroll Premium, QuickBooks Online Payroll Elite, and QuickBooks Time.
• If you have QuickBooks Online Free, you can use our free self-serve resources in (?) Help or on the QuickBooks Learn and Support site . For expert service, upgrade to a paid subscription of QuickBooks Online.
• For a better experience, open this article in QuickBooks Online. Launch side-by-side view.

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
2. Select (?) Help.
3. Select one of the following options to get help:
   1. Assistant tab: Enter your question in the Type or ask something field. QuickBooks Assistant will provide answers or options. To connect with a product expert, enter Talk to an expert.
   2. Search tab: Enter your question in the Search questions, keywords, or topics field. You’ll get a list of related articles. To connect with a product expert, select Contact Us.

QuickBooks Online expert service hours

QuickBooks mobile app

To get help with QuickBooks mobile app, follow these steps:

For Android:

1. Sign in to the QuickBooks mobile app.
2. Tap Menu, then tap (?).
3. Tap Help and Support. Then, you can either
   1. Search articles: Enter your question in the Search questions, keywords, or topics field. You’ll get a list of related articles.
   2. Contact Us: Tap Contact Us, then follow the steps. You can either schedule an appointment or have us call you back as soon as possible.

For iOS:

1. Sign in to the QuickBooks mobile app.
2. Tap Menu, then tap (?).
3. Tap one of the following options to get help:
   1. Articles and support:
      1. Search articles: Enter your question in the Search questions, keywords, or topics field. You’ll get a list of related articles. 
      2. Contact Us: Tap Contact Us, then follow the steps. You can either schedule an appointment or have us call you back as soon as possible.
   2. Ask QB assistant a question:
      1. Enter your question in the text field. QuickBooks Assistant will provide answers or options.
      2. Connect with an expert: If you still need help, type: Talk to an expert. Then, select one from Callback, Chat, or Ask the community.

QuickBooks Desktop

To get help with QuickBooks Desktop, follow these steps:
Note: These steps apply to:

• QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier, Plus, and Enterprise. If you have QuickBooks Desktop Pro or Premier, unlimited support is available with a care plan. QuickBooks Plus and Enterprise include a care plan.
• QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Basic, Enhanced, Assisted.

1. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
2. Go to the Help menu, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
   Tips:
   • Press F1 on your keyboard to open the Help window.
   • If you don’t see the Help menu, check your screen settings in QuickBooks Desktop or update its version.
3. From the Help window, you can either:
   1. Search articles: Enter your question in the Search questions, keywords, or topics field. You’ll get a list of related articles.
   2. Contact Us: Select Contact Us, then follow the steps. You can choose between a callback or a chat with us.

QuickBooks Desktop expert service hours

QuickBooks Workforce

To get help with QuickBooks Workforce, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Workforce.
2. Select Help.
3. Select how you want to get help:
   • Assistant tab: Enter your question in the Type or ask something field. QuickBooks Assistant will give you answers or options.
   • Search tab: Enter your question in the Search questions, keywords, or topics field. You'll get a list of related articles.

QuickBooks Capital and QuickBooks Live

To get help with QuickBooks Capital or QuickBooks Live, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Capital.
2. Choose how you want to contact us:
   • Give us a call at the number provided on the page.
   • Select Live chat to start a chat with a product expert.
