Sign up for ProAdvisor and ProAdvisor certification courses

Access the ProAdvisor Academy from your QuickBooks Online Accountant firm to take training courses and exams. You can earn certifications, submit CPE credits, and manage your ProAdvisor badges directly through the platform.

Access ProAdvisor Academy

Start a course or take an exam to get certified.

1. Go to All Apps, select ProAdvisor, then select ProAdvisor training. Take me there.
2. Select Training, then select Start learning.

You will automatically sign in to the ProAdvisor Academy in a new tab.

Notes:

• If you see completed courses that you have not taken yet, contact Intuit Accountant Support.
• After you pass a certification, sign in to Credly to accept your badge. Use the same email address you used for your certification.

Navigate the ProAdvisor Academy

Use the following sections within the Academy to manage your training and certifications.

• My Hub: Continue any certification enrollments you have started. A progress bar shows how many Learning courses you have completed within an enrollment.
• Certifications: Switch between available Foundation and Specialty certification programs. Select Enroll or Continue learning to view course details.
  • Testing out: You can test out of courses by taking the exam immediately. However, testing out does not earn CPE credits; you must complete the learning courses to earn credits.
• Learn: View an alphabetical list of all learning courses.
• My History: Download your certificates and badges, or share badges to social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, and X).
  • Credly: You must set up a Credly profile to use the platform. Only new CPE credits earned through the Academy appear here; credits earned prior to migration do not.
• FAQ: Review frequently asked questions about the platform and programs.

Submit CPE certificates

To receive credit for your Continuing Professional Education (CPE), you must submit your certificate to the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).

Manage ProAdvisor points

Your ProAdvisor tier is determined by a points system. You earn points for activities such as earning QuickBooks certifications or onboarding new clients.

Important:

• If your certification expires, you lose the points earned when you became certified.
• If you are already certified, recertification does not add additional points.

View your firm's current points:

1. Go to All Apps , select ProAdvisor, then select Benefits. Take me there.
2. Select Benefits.
3. Select History to see activities that impact your point total.
