Use reports to track your project profitability and progress

Learn about the latest project financial reports exclusively for QuickBooks Online Advanced.
We offer a suite of financial reports to help you track your projects. Here’s how to run the reports and the list of reports available to you.
Run project reports
- Go to Projects.
- Select any project.
- Select the Project Reports tab.
- Select an individual report for the current project, or select Reports for all projects.
See available project reports
Report name | Description |
Estimated costs/income | What you predict you’ll spend and make on a project, or all projects |
Actual costs/income | What you really spend and made for a specific project, or all projects |
Work in progress | See the progress of your project at a glance. View the percentage of what you spent so far vs. your estimate |
Estimate and progress invoicing | Stay on top of project billing and know what your customer paid.View the percentage of what you’ve earned so far vs. your estimate. |
Project profitability summary | Understand how profitable your projects are. This report gathers income and expense data to show the financial success of each project. |
