Batch Delivery is a feature that sends your regular or plain-text email in timed batches rather than to your whole audience at once. This helps control traffic to your website and prevents potential strain on your server.

In this article, you'll learn how to schedule batch delivery.

Before you start

Here are some things to know before you begin this process.

Schedule batch delivery

Use batch delivery to send your email to an audience or segment of subscribed contacts of any size.

To schedule batch delivery for an email, follow these steps.

  1. In the email builder, click Add Send Time or Edit Send Time.
  2. Click Schedule a time.
  3. Scroll down and click Send at a specific time.

  4. Check the box in Batch delivery.

  5. Click the first drop-down to select the number of batches you want to send.
  6. Click the second drop-down and choose how long we should wait between sending each batch.
  7. Click Save.
  8. When you’re ready to send your email, click Schedule. In the popup, click Confirm scheduling email.

For emails that are set to auto-post to Facebook or X (formerly Twitter), we'll post at the time of the final batch delivery.
