Previously, edits to QuickBooks Online weekly timesheets and single-time activities didn’t sync with QuickBooks Time. This caused a mismatch of hours depending on where you looked.

Going forward, past and future edits you make in QuickBooks weekly timesheets will automatically sync with QuickBooks Time timesheets, and vice-versa.

You can view your timesheet edit history in QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Time.

In QuickBooks Online

  • Go to All apps A bunch of numbers and letters on a tile wall., then Time, then Time entries (Take me there).

  • Select the date range for the timesheets.

  • Select the team member’s name you want to review.

  • Select Expand menu Dropdown arrow icon., then select View timesheet history.

  • Look for any changes made by systemmerge

In QuickBooks Time

View edits merged on a single timesheet.

  • Go to Time entries

  • Select View log view logon the timesheet you want to review.

  • Look for any changes made by systemmerge

You can also view merged edits for all timesheets in a single report.

  • Go to Reports, then select Logging and Auditing, then Timesheet Merge History

  • Select All time to view all of the merge changes or select a specific week.

  • Select Download CSV.
