Use Google Maps in QuickBooks Desktop

by Intuit Updated 1 month ago

Learn how to find the location of your customer or vendor using Google Maps in QuickBooks Desktop.

QuickBooks Desktop uses Google Maps to help you find the location of your customer or vendor. When connected online, you can get a map or directions with different transportation options. Here’s how.

Note: Incomplete information and non-address information (such as phone number) in the address may cause an error.

Access maps and directions

  1. Go to Customer Center or Vendor Center.
  2. Select the name of a customer or vendor.
  3. On the Customer or Vendor Information window, select Maps or Directions. This will direct you to an external browser.

You can now send the address info to your mobile number, or save the location/direction information on your Google account.
