Authorize QuickBooks as your Nevada unemployment Third Party Agent

Learn how to authorize QuickBooks to act as your payroll agent in Nevada (NV).

When you set up your new QuickBooks Online Payroll or QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Assisted service, or when you add a new employee in NV, you need to authorize us as your reporting service agent with the state. This will let us to obtain and update your unemployment tax rate.

Authorize QuickBooks as your payroll agent

  1. Go to the Nevada Unemployment Insurance site and sign in to your account (or create one if needed).
  2. Complete the security verification.
  3. Select More.
  4. From Access Management, select Grant Third Party Access.
  5. Select Next.
  6. Enter the following email address twice for the payroll service you use:
    • QuickBooks Online Payroll: tax_eservice@intuit.com
    • QuickBooks Desktop Payroll: payrolltax_operationseservices@intuit.com
  7. Select the Tax box. Leave the boxes for Claims and Appeals blank. Intuit doesn't support those functions.
  8. From Access Level dropdown, choose File Returns and Make Payments.
  9. Select Next, then Submit.
