
Set clock in and out reminders in QuickBooks Time

Learn how to set up your company or team member clock-in and clock-out reminders in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Time.
Notes:
- Only account admins can manage these settings. If not, you can manage your own settings.
- If notifications are set to send through both SMS and push, only a push notification will be sent to the team members' mobile devices.
- If both SMS and push notifications are set by a team member, they’ll receive both types.
Set reminders
QuickBooks Online
- Go to Settings ⚙, then Account and settings.
- Select Time.
- From the Notifications section, select ✎Edit and make the corresponding changes needed for:
- Clock in Reminder
- Clock out Reminder
- Days the reminders are sent
- Notification for when a clock in/clock out is adjusted
- Notification when notes are added or edited
- Select Save, then Done.
QuickBooks Time
For all team members
For all team members
- In QuickBooks Time, select Company Settings.
- Select Notifications, make your changes, and select Save.
For individual team members
For individual team members
- In QuickBooks Time, select My Team.
- Select a team member, then select Notifications.
- Make your changes, and select Save.
