Having trouble with something in QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop? Don’t worry, we’re here to help you get back to business. Here’s what you should do to fix an issue or find the answer you need.
1. Check the QuickBooks status page
QuickBooks status page lets you know if there are any server issues or outages on our end.
Note: You can subscribe to updates by selecting Subscribe to updates on the status page. That way we can tell you when there’s any outage or scheduled maintenance that might affect how you use QuickBooks.
2. Search help or Google
Go to the Help icon in QuickBooks Online, or press F2 in QuickBooks Desktop. This opens the help viewer, and you can search for help with anything you need. If there’s something specific you can do, this should help you find the steps. Especially if you’re seeing a specific error message or code. You can also use Google to search for help if you can’t get into QuickBooks.
3. Ask the community
See if anyone else is having trouble with the same thing on our community site. Or post a question there to see what other QuickBooks users have to say.
