If you use our Enhanced service, we'll generate your state W-2 copies plus any additional required forms. In many states, the W-2s and/or other forms can be filed electronically. In other states, we'll provide signature-ready versions of the W-2s and forms for you to file manually. In a few states, we'll provide worksheets to use as guides in filling out the original forms provided by the tax agency. An item to file the state W-2 copies and other required forms will appear on your payroll To Do list beginning on January 1.
If you use our Basic service, we won't provide your state W-2 copies or other forms. You should make your own arrangements to prepare and file the forms.
