Change customer label in QuickBooks Online

Learn the steps on how to change the labels you want to refer your customers to (or people who give you money) in QuickBooks Online.

Change customer label

1. Go to Settings and select Account and settings.
2. Select the Advanced tab.
3. On the Other preferences section, select Edit ✎.
4. From the Customer label ▼ dropdown, change the customer label.
5. Select Save, then Done.

   Note: Some parts of QuickBooks Online won't change terminologies until the next time you sign in.
