If you click a button or link and nothing happens, that means that pop-up windows are being blocked. To troubleshoot this issue, please select the appropriate browser below, and follow the steps.
Firefox (Windows or Mac): Check for pop-up blockers
- Open Firefox, select Menu ≡, then select Settings.
- Under Privacy and Security, Scroll down to Permissions.
- Go to the Block pop-up windows uncheck the box, or select Exceptions… and add qbo.intuit.com as an exception by clicking on Allow.
- Select Save Changes.
- Once adjusted, sign out, close Firefox, reopen it, and sign back in.
- Try accomplishing the task you were blocked from before.
Note: The steps may vary depending upon your browser version.
Things to consider:
- There are various toolbars that have their own pop-up blockers. The menu options or icons for the pop-up blocker will vary between different toolbars.
- Try hovering your mouse pointer over each icon; text should appear describing what the icon does. Normally, when you're hovering over the pop-up blocker icon, it will list the number of pop-ups blocked or current on/off status.
- If your QuickBooks Online pop-ups are still blocked, you can use the Windows hotkey by holding down the CTRL key before clicking the button or link that brings up the pop-up window.
