Before we proceed, could you clarify if you're referring to switching your QuickBooks from the US to the Canadian version? This detail will help me give you the most effective advice.

 

Please note that the region of your account is determined by the region's website where you made your subscription. Once set, the region cannot be changed.

 

To switch your app from the US version to the Canadian version, it is recommended that you first cancel your current subscription to avoid any additional charges.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Click Cancel.
  4. Hit Continue to cancel.
     

 

After canceling, you can subscribe to the appropriate version of your choice. Make sure to select the correct country when subscribing and then proceed with the process. From there, sign up for a new one.

 

To sign up for the new version:

 

  1. Choose your desired plan. 
  2. For payroll services, opt for Add to Plan. Otherwise, proceed by selecting Continue without payroll.

     
  3. If you want to use the same login credentials, click Sign in and select Yes, that's correct.
  4. Enter your payment details.
  5. Hit Subscribe.
