Account management
Hello there, moojustheffs.
I appreciate you for following the solution provided by my peer and letting us know the result. Let me point you in the right direction to resolve your reconciliation concern.
Before proceeding, allow me to share some information on why you’re unable to see the Undo option. The steps shared by @AldrinS only apply to the accountant version.
If you’re using QBOA, we’ll run the browser troubleshooting to get the Undo button to show up. First, open QBO via incognito mode or private browsing to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue.
The process will vary depending on the browser you’re using. Here’s how to bring up one.
- For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
- For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
- For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N
From there, go back to the History by account page and click the drop-down under the Action column to see the Undo option. If this works, clear the cache of the regular browser.
This process will help the applications to run better on your computer. Otherwise, utilize a supported browser to check if the one you’re using is the issue.
For QBO users (Simple Start, Essentials, or Plus), you’ll have to manually edit each transaction to undo the reconciliation. I’m adding an article that will guide you through the steps: Undo or remove transactions from reconciliations in QuickBooks Online.
After performing the process, you can now reconcile the account. To help you in the future, I’m adding some links that will guide you on how to resolve any reconciliation issues.
